Taking the Initiative
That Weinert woman! She has thrown away the high school and middle school reading lists, and filed all the grade school lists that came in this summer in the "Elementary School Reading Lists" binder on the reference shelves.
A place where we can talk without actually having to see each other.

Actually, I thought I might be jumping the gun, so I did half-heartedly look around for the ending date--but in the end, I figured most kids are done with their reading. I didn't, of course, toss out the lists in the summer reading aisle (tempting though it might have been ;-) and of course this info is still (and in perpetuity) available online. And what are those kids thinking of, waiting til after the start of school to begin their summer reading?!? Apologies for any inconvenience...

I totally did NOT post the above comment more than once. Just proves the presence of poltergeists--who take the initiative EVEN more frequently than I, apparently!
