Jason on Vacation

That is what you would call an "approximate rhyme", as illustrated in the following limerick:

There once was a man named Jason
Who decided to take a vacation
The IRS
Found his records a mess
And cited him for tax evasion

You will note that there are actually two "approximate rhymes" in the limerick. Approximate rhyming can be a good way to subtlely increase your options when writing poems or songs. It is, however, a technique that must be used carefully. There is a fine line between clever and contrived, and the author can easily be viewed as "trying too hard".

In any event, I'll be out all next week- until Monday, August 21st.

This has nothing to do with me, by the way. I pay my taxes.
