Bats at the Beach

I need your detective help: I put a hold on a book of the above title, by Brian Lies (not owned by WPL, but read by D. Pinkwater on NPR recently), and recall reading it quickly and either "returning" it or passing it on to one of you folks, since it was quite entertaining. However, my account shows that it was never checked out to me, and since it belongs to the Lyell branch, I'm anxious to be sure they get it back! Could all of you please scour your "personal space" to be sure it didn't get passed to you, and scoot it back to me if you come across it? Many thanks!

P.S. Hope all of you got to see the "Opinion" column from the Jan 2006 "American Libraries" that AF shared; I hope she prints the whole page in the next WPL newsletter!!
