lists, computers

Another reading list just came in today (grrrr)--this time from Plank North School; I nabbed and copied it, and added it to the growing pile of book lists attached to the clipboard...

The computer closest to the story room has been converted to the "games only" format, but there are still glitches with the icons, so Patti hung an Out of Order sign on it until she can deal with this. AF, I'd love more specific input about how this will operate: it's my understanding that there will be sound available on these games, but headsets (totally zippy, heavy-duty ones??) will be offered. Do we take some sort of ID to lend these out? Also, I understand that none of the current links we offer will be available on three of the computers, when the changeover is complete--including the Kids' Catalogue and/or homework help links, etc. Just trawling to find out whether I've misunderstood anything...
