Down But Not Out
Please remind/double check the pages that they are not just shutting off the computer monitor at the end of the day but shutting the computer completely down. If they don't know how to do it, they should ask someone...

OK, there seems to be confusion in the ranks about this. Some pages are obstinately clear that they only need to shut off the monitors; some "log off" but don't "shut down" the computers. Who makes this call? Can we ask Olivia to beat them all over the head til they are clear on this?

OK, Patti tells me that she's spoken individually with Olivia, Jason and Adrienne about this, but apparently the deal is that it is important NOT to shut off the computers, because that prevents the "Deep Freeze" program from clearing out the day's electronic clutter. Patti will get out a memo to all concerned on the topic, but if I've understood correctly, the screens should be set back to the J dept. homepage, and then MONITORS ONLY shut off, each night. Standby to have this turn out to be incorrect! ;-)
Aw, shucks, Adrienne, we all know you were just forgetting to make those of us who are regularly MUCH more forgetful not feel so bad about it. Way to go, Boss!
