Reference (???) log/stupid question

OK, a voice in my head is saying that this has to be dumbest question ever, and another is chanting, "If your butt's out of the chair, it goes in a square!"

So....a kid begs me to stand by his side while he clicks through every possible option at the PBS site to find the one that requires some Macromedia add-on that we apparently don't have...and I log this how?

Or (you might want to avert your eyes; I know I did!) a sweet grandma comes to tell me that her granddaughter can't use the bathroom because a) there's no toilet paper, b) they can't figure out how to flush the toilet (it never occured to me before that a sign might be helpful...), and c) the very largest and most colorful T-RD ever produced by a human body is currently resident in the toilet bowl and refuses to be flushed without violent intervention. Do you really want to know about this? And if so, what exactly do I write?? "Toilet intervention"? :-P
