Counting butterflies

Xandi, I was just thinking about the perennial problem of counting take & make crafts, and had this mini-brainstorm: I just bought a couple of extra clear plastic bins (like the ones in the craft storage room). If you empty out the cardboard box (into the display or an extra bin) BEFORE the volunteer starts making new craft packages, then even if you and the volunteer forget, it's possible to count what's in the cardboard box and have an accurate count of what got made on a given day. (If this explanation is gobbledygook, ask me to demonstrate sometime.) Just a thought...
