tacky, tacky, tacky

OK, I figure there's something I'm missing about the wonders of Tacky Glue. I've only used it twice in my life, both times here at WPL J. Dept---but I can't figure out why anyone would bother with it twice under any other circumstances. Could it be that our supply is old, and therefore not only SUPER-tacky but almost impossible to reach, down at the very bottom of our remaining bottles? Do I need special training in Tackiness?? Your insight and/or support appreciated...

Just so no one else duplicates my efforts, I've made reminder calls for Adrienne's Monday morning Toddler Times.

I also put a little plastic tray behind the 3 Apples sign to collect the books that kids nominate. Has anyone actually had a patron express interest in this? (I haven't.) I hope to make a display at the Parents' Shelf bulletin board, but don't hesitate to "talk it up" with young patrons---the deadline is March 31!
