Hey, Kids!!!
Today's newsworthy items:
We're collecting nominations for the "3 Apples Book Award," a NYS Children's Choice thingy! Nomination forms are in a little basket near the sign detailing the award program at the end of the gazebo; in a move designed to be Too Smart For My Own Good, I've tucked the master for these forms INSIDE the plastic sign holder. (I guess when I forget this, I can look it up again on the new blog, hmmm?) Details on the process are on the sign, and/or you can check the website: www.3applesbookaward.org. There are also bookmarks in the same little basket as the ballots... I'll try and make a sign that is more eye-catching than the one offered by the promoters.
Having been informed that a bunch of masters for activity sheets got moved in near the large Ellison dies & paper cutter, I made a unilateral decision to move our book of activity sheets into that same file drawer. If anyone objects, please holler and I'll scurry to replace it in our overcrowded file drawer behind the gazebo desk...

I know I don't tell you guys enough, but I think the WPL Children's Staff ROCKS! What a pleasure to work with such committed, dedicated professionals who truly love their jobs and the little people they serve! Oh, by the by, bookends are not a big deal - budgetwise. Never hestitate to ask for what you need!
